Sarah Montgomery, LCSW-C
Sarah Montgomery is the Coordinator of Children and Family Programs at Chesapeake Life Center, a program service of the Hospice of the Chesapeake. She has over 20 years clinical experience providing individual, family, and group counseling in a variety of settings, including school-based, outpatient psychiatry and community-based organizations. She is also the co-author of three books including the Clinical Uses of Drawings, Helping Your Depressed Teenager, and Supporting Children After a Suicide Loss, and a recent publication SupportingChildren after a Drug-related Loss as well as numerous other articles. She has presented widely at both local and national conferences on a variety of topics including suicide and overdose loss, ambiguous loss, grieving children and griefs impacts on family systems.
